Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
There are many different procedures under Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of oral and maxillofacial diseases, traumas or deformities. Impacted tooth operations, tooth extraction, maxillary deformities, dental implant surgery, abscess and cyst operations can be listed as procedures performed with oral and maxillofacial surgery.
We, as Dentasey, serve with our expert staff in oral and maxillofacial surgery in order to improve and protect the oral and dental health of our patients. By applying advanced examination methods, we plan treatments that enhance our patients’ health and satisfy them.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Procedures
Dental Implant Surgery
Teeth that have been missed for different reasons over time may lead to chewing and speech disorders as well as aesthetic concerns in patients. Dental implant surgery, which involves replacing missing teeth with artificial dental roots, can be preferred for single missing tooth and multiple missing teeth. Following dental implant surgery performed to restore the functions of the missing teeth, patients can have natural-looking stable teeth.
Impacted Tooth Operations
If there is not sufficient space in the maxillary cavity for the tooth development, the tooth remains impacted. Impacted teeth may lead to pain and infection, but may also damage the roots of adjacent teeth causing loss of teeth.
We, as Dentasey, use different methods in the treatment of “wisdom teeth”. If the impacted tooth does not harm the other teeth in the mouth or maxillary structure, we try to correct the teeth alignment of our patients with orthodontic treatment. If the impacted teeth cause gingival diseases, chronic abscess formation and damage to adjacent teeth, we surgically intervene in the tooth. We carry out many examinations specific to teeth, notably the general health status of our patients, before the impacted tooth operations.
Tooth Extraction
Oral and Maxillofacial surgery may sometimes require tooth extraction. If it is too late to treat periodontal diseases, the natural tooth of the patient is irreparably damaged, other teeth are at risk due to decay and the tooth cannot be recovered, tooth extraction is performed.
We, as Dentasey, are committed to protecting the natural teeth of our patients for a long time as far as possible. Therefore, we perform tooth extraction only when it is the last alternative.
Except impacted tooth operations, tooth extraction and dental implant surgery, we perform with our expert staff in oral and maxillofacial surgery;
